Merchant presents "IN THE WINDOW"  a quarterly exhibition showcasing rotating Artists to display their sculpture in the window of our Atwater Village Location, Merchant Modern East.

Our Atwater Village storefront window, though modest in size, offers a unique canvas for artistic exploration. We are thrilled to launch a quarterly artist exhibition, inviting Merchant Artists to transform this small space into a captivating window into their creative process. This program challenges artists to think big within a small footprint, pushing the boundaries of scale and proportion in their work.

Each quarter, a new artist will exhibit in our shop window, showcasing a curated collection of sculptures. The intimate nature of the space encourages artists to consider how their work interacts with the viewer on a more personal level. The changing exhibitions will offer a dynamic and ever-evolving street-side gallery experience for the Atwater Village community.​ The revolving exhibitions will feature a range of unique works exclusive to Merchant Modern showcasing a mix of  collectible pieces and intertwining small sculpture and objects that are intended to be lived with, Our approach to collecting art has always been to love each work and let the art speak to you.
